THE DK MODULAR SYSTEM – SIMPLY EXPLAINED Measuring workpieces often requires creativity!
Of course, nothing should move, but the test piece should also not be deformed or covered – and nothing should slip, of course. Milling a separate fixture for each test piece is time-consuming and expensive, and only fits that one specific part. There are individual products or small sets available for fastening, but they are inflexible, not 3D-variable, not expandable and certainly not suitable for every measurement technology.
The dk fixing systems are completely different!
We offer you a modular system with over 1,000 parts suitable for all measurement techniques.
Our clamping and fixing elements can be freely combined with each other. And best of all: with the standardised interface, you can change individual elements or entire fixtures within seconds. This allows you to fix everything from the smallest to the largest test piece quickly and securely and measure with absolute precision and repeatability.
We at dk Fixiersysteme have developed the modular system and manufacture the parts ourselves. Not sure which elements you need? Our application engineering team will be happy to advise you, or you can download the 3D models and try them out.

MODULAR SYSTEM WITH QUICK-CHANGE SYSTEM A modular system is only as good as its perfection in detail: dk combines a comprehensive selection of components and a wide variety of designs with a quick-change system. This system includes base plates as drill or slot plates, as well as system rails and a large selection of base holders, mounting and clamping elements that can be placed on them. The unique overall concept guarantees the precise, fast, reproducible and therefore economical fixing of measuring parts without expensive disposable special fixtures.
The configurations can of course be dismantled and reconfigured again and again. High wear resistance guarantees long-term reusability. This sustainably reduces the process time for new products and consistently saves fixture costs.
SCHIENENFIX – BASIC STRUCTURE Modular system for optical measuring machines, multisensor devices, measuring projectors and measuring microscopes, but also for tactile measurements. It is based on a modular rail system with mounting and clamping elements for the optimal positioning of parts with a wide variety of geometries, preferably for optical measuring processes. A system of toothed rails is attached to the measuring machine, thus forming the perfect fixture for workpieces whose straight edges can be measured very accurately thanks to the toothing.
The product film shows the reproducible clamping of flat parts using toothed rail angles: the surrounding transmitted light measurement is made possible by the teeth on the angle. Clamping is quick and effective thanks to simple and fast flexible spring clamps in various designs.
SCHIENENFIX - HOLDING TURNED PARTS Turned parts or generally rotationally symmetrical parts are positioned and fixed using a tailstock, prism with spring clamp, prism supports and three-jaw chucks from the standard dk FIXIERSYSTEME range. This achieves optimum visibility and, consequently, exemplary measurability of the workpieces in what is usually only one reproducible clamping. As can be seen in the video, the tailstock and prism, for example, can be positioned flexibly and continuously on the rack angle according to the component length. By changing the tips, even parts without a centre can be clamped quickly and easily, and their total length can be measured through the slot in the hollow tip. With the prism, which can be mounted in various orientations in the prism holder, small round parts can be fixed very flexibly.
SCHIENENFIX - HOLDING PLATE AND MILLED PARTS The T-slot on SCHIENENFIX tooth rails not only allows for the infinitely adjustable placement of spring clamping elements that act directly on measuring parts, but also enables the attachment of SCHIENENFIX and SPANNFIX base, add-on and clamping modules.
The SWA 39 interface makes it possible to use clamping elements from the SPANNFIX system optimally and without any problems. This includes, for example, precision vices, which are available in many different sizes: clamping with clamping pins and stops ensures reproducible clamping and optimal accessibility of the measuring points – both visually and tactilely. The component remains in the same clamping position and is moved to different measuring positions via the SWA 39 interface.
QUADERFIX – SECURE AND REPRODUCIBLE WORKHOLDING FOR HEAVY AND COMPLEX PARTS The T-slot on SCHIENENFIX tooth rails not only allows for the infinitely adjustable placement of spring clamping elements that act directly on measuring parts, but also enables the attachment of SCHIENENFIX and SPANNFIX base, add-on and clamping modules.
The SWA 39 interface makes it possible to use clamping elements from the SPANNFIX system optimally and without any problems. This includes, for example, precision vices, which are available in many different sizes: clamping with clamping pins and stops ensures reproducible clamping and optimal accessibility of the measuring points – both visually and tactilely.
