Measuring probe systems

The styli from dk FIXIERSYSTEME are precise sensors with which accurate workpiece measurements down to the µ-range are possible. The functional principle of the probes consists of styli contacting the workpiece surfaces. Tactile probes, i.e. measuring styli that use a tactile sense to touch the surface of workpieces point by point, are mainly used to measure height, thickness or curvature. An analogue probe measures a product in a scanning process. Data acquisition is done by moving the stylus bead over the surface of the object in a tactile manner using a coordinate measuring machine. Compared to digital probes, this has the advantage that more measuring points can be recorded in the shortest time and a higher resolution is achieved.
